    When using compressors to produce compressed air, impurities become even more concentrated in the process of in-flowing and compressingpolluted air because the ambient atmosphere contains floating particles such as water vapor, fine particles such as dust and various contaminants.

    • Inside the compressor, if it is a fueling-type, oil is used for lubrication and cooling. In such case, high temperature generated during compression causes chemical reaction such as oxidation or carbonization due to frictional heat, thus creating solid matters and large amounts of oil mist. Impurities like these not only cause failure of compressed air equipment and automated machinery but also shorten the lifetime of the equipment and cause product failure. Therefore, air filters are crucial for using clear compressed air for appropriate applications.
