Product Advantages
Uniformed Size
This product is particularly useful for high-pressure gas appliances where change in pressure can affect the manufacturing process. Activated alumina gel’s evenly spherical shape has the advantage of maintaining its adsorptive capacity constant by evenly supplying dehumidified during the dryer’s operation.
High Mechanical Strength
Activated alumina gel has high mechanical strength, meaning its shape will not change against high-pressure compressed air that is supplied to the tower. It is also to the advantage of the design of the tower because the allowable load of the gel to be charged in the tower is higher compared to other adsorbents.
Low Wear Rate
Due to the condition of compressed air supplied to the dryer, a large amount of friction occurs on the adsorbents, causing dust to be generated. Activated alumina gel has high abrasion-resistance compared to other adsorbents, preventing rapid pressure drops during the dryer’s operation and extending the replacement cycle of the valves and air filters.
High Adsorption Capacity
Activated alumina gel’s high surface treatment increases water absorption capacity of the fluid flowing in the tower.

  • ACTIVE ALUMINA
  • As a porous aluminum oxide adsorbent, it is the most widely used adsorbent because it has a large surface area, high mechanical strength against impact and friction, as well as moisture. When regenerated by heat, its regeneration temperature ranges from 175℃ ~ 250℃ depending on required dew points. Its lowest equilibrium dew point is about -76 ℃ under pressure.
  • MOLECULAR SIEVE
  • Molecular Sieve is not affected by relative humidity and maintains high adsorption rate. Because its adsorption rate decreases gradually, unlike silica or alumina gel where adsorption rate drops rapidly depending on inlet temperatures, it is mostly used when inlet temperature is high or relative humidity is low.
  • SILICA GEL
  • Its water adsorption capacity is exceptional when inlet temperature is low and relative humidity is high. It also breaks well due to low intensity. Heat required for regeneration is small and regeneration temperature ranges from 150°C to 180°C depending on required dew points. Once it reaches over 250°C, it loses its adsorptive capacity and the lowest equilibrium dew point is about -70°C.
  • Low temperature regeneration GEL
  • Its water adsorption capacity is exceptional when inlet temperature is low and relative humidity is high. It also breaks well due to low intensity.
